Updated 33,000-square-foot Dolce Vita clubhouse opens

Posted

Management and executives from Dolce Vita recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony revealing the work that went into the resort property and the grand reopening of an updated 33,000-square-foot clubhouse at the manufactured home community in Apache Junction.

Dolce Vita General Manager Joseph Mojica spoke to more than 300 of the community’s residents who RSVP’d for the March 17 event. Also speaking at the event were Apache Junction dignitaries and Mayor Chip Wilson. Guests were treated with celebratory drinks, live music and tours of the new facility, which includes an updated ballroom, fitness center, movie theater room, library, billiards hall, card room, full kitchen and more.

The community, 3301 S. Goldfield Road, was originally established in 1999 and was later renamed Dolce Vita, which means “sweet life,” according to a release.

Since coming under new ownership in 2020, Dolce Vita management has worked to enhance and modernize the Apache Junction resort.

Upgrades to the clubhouse included repainting, new carpet and marble flooring, LED lighting, an updated HVAC system, strength and cardio equipment for the upgraded fitness center and an audio/visual system that includes a multimedia projector and screen.

Additional improvement projects throughout the community included the resurfacing of the bocce, tennis and pickleball courts; resurfacing of resort streets; upgrading light fixtures for outdoor activity locations; and the installation of a new ADA chairlift for the community pool.
