Weezer’s Indie Rock Roadtrip! planning summer stop in Phoenix.
The 30-city run of shows will be in the Valley on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St.
The tour pairs the alt legends with alternating support from iconic bands of the last 15 years as well as the up-and-comers: Modest Mouse and Momma, Future Islands and Joyce Manor, Spoon and White Reaper.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday March 3.
These shows, kicking off June 4 in Huntsville, Alabama, are the first batch following the band’s SZNZ project last year, which yielded the No. 1 Alternative radio singles “Records” and “A Little Bit Of Love.”
