The Black Hole plays Gilbert Water Tower Plaza at March 23 event

The Black Hole will be the performer at Gilbert's March 23 Concert in the Park.

The free event runs from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Water Tower Plaza, 45 W. Page Ave., Gilbert.

The Black Hole is an explosive blues rock trio from Phoenix. Formed in 2012 as the backing band for blues icon Carvin Jones, they have played in 43 countries with some of the biggest names in modern music.

The band consists of guitarist/vocalist Connor Kelly, bassist Joe Edwards and drummer Levi Velasquez. They are touring North America, South America and Europe and release new music regularly.

Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food trucks will be on site.
