Tempe PD seeks suspect in aggravated assault

Posted

The Tempe Police Department is asking the community for help in identifying a suspect in an aggravated assault earlier this month.

According to a news release from the department, a man committed the assault on July 5 at the Armed Services Career Center, located at 1350 E. Broadway Road in Tempe. Police say the man caused harm to a victim by pressing a knife to his neck.

The man in question was captured on surveillance camera and is described as a bald, Hispanic man of medium build. He was not seen with a vehicle. He was wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt with ‘SLAM’ on the back.

Anyone with information is asked to call 480-350-8311, the Tempe PD’s non-emergency phone number.
