Tamra Lei Louise Stark

Tamra was born June 5, 1948 Missoula, Montana died Feb. 5, 2021 Sun City West, Arizona.
Following a career in consumer health consulting in Milwaukee, WI and Durham, N.C. Tammy moved to Sun City West in 2005. She continued her work in her new community. Many of you know her most recently as the manager of the Sun City West Explorer Program. There she has been creating diverse programs to enrich the lives of community members.
She has served as a board member and consultant to Adelante Health, helping to provide healthcare services to the underserved. She trained and served as a chaplain at local hospitals helping family and patients through their end of life. Furthering her training she became a ”life coach” and worked with individuals helping them to achieve personal goals. This was inspiring work for Tammy.
An avid beader, she wove intricate patterns into her work. She enjoyed ushering for the Milwaukee Brewers spring training for 6 years.
With a group of friends the WOW group was formed. This group met to explore their spiritual understanding and the deeper meanings of life.
Tammy was a “remarkable” friend to many. Generous and fully alive, the word “vivacious” aptly describes her. May her goodness prevail in those of us left behind.
Tammy is preceded by her parents, Joe and Gladys Stark. She is survived by brothers, Kirk Stark (Judy), Rothschild, WI, Kempy Stark (Nancy), Naples, FL; and sister, Jody Stark, Gig Harbor, WA.
Memorial services will be held at a future date. Memorial donations may be sent in Tamra’s name to Adelante Healthcare, 3033 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ, 85012.
