Surprise artist opens studio in city

Simmerman now calls Ground Floor Artists home

Sarah Simmerman Fine Art is excited to announce the opening of its new studio in Ground Floor Artists in Surprise.

The studio is at 13343 W. Foxfire Drive, Suite 3, and is open to the public from 10 a.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Ground Floor Artists is a unique space that fosters the growth of artists in the West Valley and across the state.

It features 28 artist studios, an artisan boutique and rotating exhibitions in the gallery. The organization provides an environment for artists to create, collaborate, exhibit and sell their work.

Surprise resident Simmerman stated she was honored to be a part of the Ground Floor Artists community in a press release.

The new studio provides a space for art enthusiasts to view and purchase her original abstract paintings, fine art prints and unique gifts.

Visitors can also learn about her artistic process and watch her create new works of art.

“I am thrilled to be opening my studio in Ground Floor Artists,” Simmerman stated. “I believe in the organization’s mission to support and promote the arts. I am committed to creating a welcoming and inspiring space where people can connect with art.”

Sarah Simmerman Fine Art invites the public to visit the studio during its regular hours or to make an appointment for a private viewing.

She will host the first in a series of open studios on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Ground Floor Artists is a nonprofit organization that provides a space for artists to create, exhibit, and sell their work. The organization offers a variety of programs and services, including artist residencies, workshops, exhibitions and studio rentals.
