Sun City Posse will collect drugs, shred documents

Residents of Sun City  and surrounding areas can get rid of unwanted medications during the semi-annual Drug Take Back event.

The drug collection is scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at Posse headquarters, 10861 W. Sunland Drive.

Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 3 substation will be on site to assist residents in disposing of their unused prescriptions or over-the-counter drugs. No glass, needles or liquids will be accepted.

In conjunction with the drug take back, the Posse will also offer a shred-a-thon for Sun City residents 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 22 at Posse headquarters.
