Royse Contemporary welcomes the annual “Summer Spectacular” group exhibition, featuring its stable of artists, with several special guest artists, in time for the gallery's fifth anniversary.

The “Summer Spectacular” will open to the public Thursday, July 14, coinciding with the Scottsdale Artwalk and the opening reception is from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibition will be on display through Sept. 11.

Save the date for an “Art Party” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, to celebrate five years of Royse Contemporary, according to a press release.

Royse Contemporary curator/owner, Nicole Royse founded Royse Contemporary with the “emphasis and belief of the importance of art and it’s vital role” in everyday lives, according to the release, noting her excitement to celebrate the five-year anniversary.

She has focused on “building up, showcasing, educating the local arts community” in the Valley.

“It is my honor to work with this talented group of artists, with their captivating styles, energetic imagery and vibrant color palettes,” states Royse. “With such a variety of work there is something for everyone and I am truly thrilled to bring this stellar work and a powerful collection for our special anniversary.”

“We would like to say 'thank you' for supporting Royse Contemporary and local arts these past five years. Working tirelessly for the arts for more than a decade, we are truly honored to work with so many great artists as they grow and create and are proud to be able to work for wonderful collectors from all around the country, filling their homes and offices with Arizona art. We are proud to be celebrating five years of Royse Contemporary and look forward to many more to come,” says Royse.

Royse Contemporary, 7077 E. Main St., Suite 6, in the Scottsdale Arts District of the Marshall Square complex, is open 6-9 p.m., Thursday; 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday; and/or by appointment, the release adds.
