Streets of New York, other eateries partner to help Maui amid fires

As Maui is devastated by wildfires,  a business chain with locations in Chandler and around the Valley, along with other eateries, has partnered with fundraiser relief efforts.
"We stand in support of the people and communities that are suffering, and we are raising money to help," Streets of New York, a Valley pizza chain, said on its social media this week. "Proceeds from every Hawaiian pizza (Canadian bacon and pineapple), purchased for the remainder of August, will be donated to the Hawai'i Community Foundation's Maui Strong Fund."
SONY Pizza is also pledging a $2000 donation.
The chain also suggests viewing the Hawai’i Community Foundation's website, especially the Maui Strong Fund, at Hawaiicommunityfoundation.org

The blog Mouth by Southwest published the names of some other Valley chains or eateries this week, that are also trying to support Maui relief in some way. Here's their list:

Koibito Poke: Donating a portion of sales from the restaurant’s signature bowls.

Chula Seafood: Hosting a raffle for a $500 gift card. The raffle will start Monday.

Crujente Tacos: Donating 100% of the proceeds from its  pork belly tacos from noon-4 p.m. Sunday at its walk-up window.

Rusconi’s American Kitchen: Donating a portion of the proceeds from its Pork Tenderloin entrée from Aug. 22-25.

Kaizen: Raffling a $500 gift card. Look for details on its website after Monday.

Original Breakfast House: Will host a fundraiser Aug. 26-27 with food specials, live music, and a raffle.

Vecina: Donating 100% of proceeds from a short rib barbacoa taco special Thursday through Sunday.

Badass Coffee of Hawaii: Donating 100% of sales of all Maui coffees.
