Stephen R. Muntean Sr., 86 Stephen Robert Muntean Sr., 86, a retired business executive, died Sept. 17, after a long battle with Parkinson"s disease, at his home at Barclay Friends, West Chester, Penn., where he was a resident for the past 2 years. He was born in East Chicago, Ind. and served in the Army. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1948 with a Bachelor"s Degree in Business Administration and earned his MBA later that year. He worked for Scott Paper Company for 35 years. Mr. Muntean and his wife Christine retired to Arizona in 1984. They were married for 44 years until his wife"s death in 1994. Mr. Muntean was a Stephen Minister through his church, a volunteer at Del Webb Hospital in Sun City West, a member of the Lions Club and active in many charitable endeavors. He is survived by five children, 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Sylvia Scott of Portland, Ore. A memorial service and reception will be held at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church in Sun City West, 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson"s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, New York 10018.
