Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee made a Sept. 6 visit to San Marcos Elementary School in Chandler to inspire financial literacy and to be a part of a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) team activity. The treasurer’s visit ties into the launch of her statewide essay contest in which fifth- and sixth-graders could win $529 toward their future education and career goals.

Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee made a Sept. 6 visit to Chandelr's San Marcos Elementary School to inspire financial literacy and to be a part of a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) team activity.
The activity was designed in a way that would get students thinking about their dream jobs and what it would take to achieve such goals.
The treasurer’s visit ties into the launch of her statewide essay contest in which fifth- and sixth-graders could win $529 toward their future education and career goals.
