Sprouts donates $5,000 to Scottsdale Recovery Center

The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation presented a $5,000 donation earlier this month to Scottsdale Recovery Center’s nonprofit arm Scottsdale Recovery Continued.

“This grant is an exciting opportunity for our clients to learn more about nutrition and apply what they’ve learned firsthand at Sprouts,” said Andrea Dermott, Scottsdale Recovery Center’s business development director. “We are thrilled to use these funds to launch our new Nourish to Flourish program, which will directly support individuals in recovery with hands-on nutrition education and access to fresh, healthy foods.”

The Nourish to Flourish program, which begins this fall at Scottsdale Recovery Center, is a weekly nutrition class designed to address a critical and often overlooked aspect of recovery: nutrition. Through the program, SRC will provide nutrition education and food access gift cards to 200 individuals by April 2026. These gift cards will empower clients to apply what they’ve learned in real time by purchasing fresh, nutritious food from their local Sprouts store. By combining education, access and support, Nourish to Flourish will help participants understand how nutrition strengthens long-term recovery and overall wellness.
