Off 87 soft-opened in mid-November in the former Ginger Monkey building.
The gastropub is in a shopping center on the southwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo Road in South Chandler.
Former Arizona Diamondbacks pitching coach Mike Butcher and his wife, Tami, are heading up the known concept. The Butchers are also known for the Pizza Butcher food truck.
The Off 87 menu will feature “pub grub,” such as an appetizer of Brussels sprouts flash-fried with pork belly.
There’s a full bar and outdoor seating.
Recent remodeling, which required a temporary closure, included a new stage for the regular live entertainment.
The Butchers want to continue the Ginger Monkey entertainment lineup that included bands and deejays. They also want to have karaoke and dueling pianos.
The building got a $10,000 makeover in 2020 as part of an episode of the Food Network’s ‘‘Restaurant: Impossible’’ show.
Off 87 can be reached at 480-802-6659, through the Ginger Monkey Gastropub’s Facebook page or through the Instagram page @Off87az. The address is 135 W. Ocotillo Road.
