The Sounds of the Southwest Singers will have a show in Peoria.
The West Valley-based choir, will be performing their Variety of Sounds concert 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 8, at Apostles Lutheran Church, 7020 W. Cactus Road.
Their Variety of Sounds concert feature favorites from all genres of our their repertoire, all in one concert.
The concert is free and open to the public. There will be an opportunity for giving benefiting Apostles Lutheran church. Donations are tax-deductible and never required, but always welcomed.
Join together following the concert for a free spaghetti dinner, as well as a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. All are invited to attend.
The Sounds of the Southwest Singers perform all year and is under the direction of Founding Director Matt Deller.
The choir has more than 100 volunteer voices, and 2023 celebrates their 13th year of performing in the West Valley.
Later this October, members of the choir will travel to Nashville to make its first professional recording with composer Joseph Martin.
In September 2024, the choir is scheduled to perform in multiple cities throughout Italy.
There are several concerts scheduled locally throughout the remainder of this year and into 2024.
