Sonic donates almost $16K to dozens of Valley schools

Sonic Drive-In awarded 74 Valley teachers with a combined donation of $15,790 from the SONIC Foundation.

Sonic donates almost $16K to dozens of Valley schools

Sonic Drive-In awarded 74 Valley teachers with a combined donation of $15,790 from the SONIC Foundation.

In August, the Foundation donated $1 million nationally to help fund requests on DonorsChoose, a national nonprofit that allows individuals to donate directly to public school classroom requests submitted by teachers.

The following schools received financial support:

  • Accelerated Learning Center, 4105 E. Shea Blvd., Phoenix, for the project "Catching Up On Creativity" for grades 9-12
