Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Arizona’s largest water park, will host a tailgate party in north Glendale the day before the Super Bowl.
Hurricane Harbor, at 4243 W. Pinnacle Peak Road, from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. The event will feature live music, food trucks, gaming and tailgating activities for the whole family. While the park’s water features will not be open due to the chilly weather, Special Olympics Arizona will host a Polar Plunge, and a portion of each ticket sale will benefit the local nonprofit.
A Mobile esports Gaming Truck – an 80-foot long, 35-ton semi-tractor trailer that transforms into a competition stage and broadcast truck – will allow guests to test their skills and compete in mini esports tournaments.
Tailgate party tickets are $20, with a portion of each ticket sale benefitting Special Olympics Arizona.
