As Glendale prepares to host the Super Bowl on Feb. 12, Valley residents can expect to see events happening around the region in the days leading up to the big game — growth from prior years, officials say.
Arizonans can expect to visit and take part in broadcasting locations, fan experiences, celebrations and a watch party taking place in cities to include Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe.
On Oct. 24, the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee held a press conference to announce various events happening prior to the Feb. 12 game to be held at State Farm Stadium. The press conference was held at Tempe Center for the Arts and had representatives in attendance from numerous Valley cities including Scottsdale Mayor David Ortega, Glendale City Councilmember Joyce Clark and Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo.
