Scottsdale Unified considers new sequence for secondary science courses

High school science curriculum at Scottsdale Unified School District likely will undergo changes in the order of courses beginning with the class of 2027.

At SUSD’s Nov. 15 governing board meeting, the board received a presentation from district staff regarding recommended revisions to the high school science curriculum sequence.

Following Arizona’s adoption in 2018 of new K-12 science standards, a group of district science teachers worked to develop this new course sequence.
