Developer behind proposed Museum Square files complaint against Scottsdale HOA

A developer behind the proposed Museum Square project in Scottsdale is filing a complaint against an HOA for causing financial and reputational damage via a lengthy legal battle.

ARC Scottsdale Holdings filed the complaint in the Maricopa County Superior Court against the Gateway at Main St. Plaza Scottsdale Condominium Association (also known as the “Association”) on a count of abuse of process, a count of tortious interference with business expectancy, a count of injurious falsehood, and a count of declaratory relief, according to the complaint.

The complaint alleges that ARC had acquired properties from the City of Scottsdale in 2022 to be transformed into the 4.5-acre project known as Museum Square.
