The Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra is launching its 2025-26 season with a concert titled “Echoes of a New World: Reflections on Resilience and Renewal.”
The music invites audiences to step away from the rush of life and experience music that speaks directly to the heart, according to a press release.

White and featuring violin soloist Joshua Facello) and Robert Schumann’s “Overture and Finale.”

The afternoon concludes with Howard Hanson’s Symphony No. 2, “Romantic,” a lush, quintessentially American work that captures the optimism and forward-looking spirit of a nation entering a new century, according to the release.
A special pre-concert talk, “Behind the Baton,” will be hosted by Maestro Kin Siu at 3:15 p.m., offering the stories behind the music in an engaging, conversational format. This 20-minute session is included with each concert ticket.
The concert starts at 4 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts, 7380 E. 2nd St..
