Paul Messinger, a lifelong public servant and, community champion whose legacy shaped the city of Scottsdale in countless ways passed away April 22. He was 95.
A Scottsdale resident since 1942, when his family came from Grand Rapids, Michigan for his father’s health, Messinger’s contributions to the city spanned more than eight decades and left an indelible mark on every corner of the community – from city governance and cultural preservation to education and public service, according to a press release from the City of Scottsdale.
