Rocky Mountain Emmys announce new board of governors

National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Regional Chapter reveals 8 members

The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced its board of governors for the 2024-2025 term.

Eight members will serve on for the 2024-2025 calendar year beginning in January, with seven returning members and one new member.

“Each of these individuals will help propel the chapter’s growth and help us seek opportunities that advance our mission,” Doug Mummert, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter president, shared in a press release.

The new board of governors:

  • Liliana Salgado (Phoenix/new board member): Salgado currently works as a video journalist for Reuters News Agency based in Phoenix.
  • Bob Adlhoch (Phoenix/returning board member): Adlhoch has been part of the sports television community in the Valley since 1990.
  • Gina Santiago (Phoenix/returning board member): Santiago joined the KPNX 12News team in December 2019.
  • Heidi Goitia (Phoenix/returning board member): Goitia has spent 20 years working in television news and continues to support the profession mentoring young journalists and celebrating the achievement of storytellers throughout the Southwest.
  • Krystle Henderson (Phoenix/returning board member): Henderson is an 11-time regional Emmy Award-winning meteorologist and multimedia journalist for 12News.
  • Sue Breding (Phoenix/returning board member): Breding has worked as a regional Emmy award-winning reporter and anchor in two of the nation’s largest TV markets, Phoenix (KTVK, 3TV) and Los Angeles (KCAL-9).
  • Todd Martin (Phoenix/returning board member): Martin is a current member of the Rocky Mountain Southwest Board of Governors and serves on the social media committee.
  • Warren Trent (Phoenix/returning board member): Trent is an award-winning journalist with more than four decades of television broadcasting experience.
