TORCH CITIZENS ACADEMY

Residents can learn more through the Citizens Academy

This program is a new generation of TORCH

Going back to 2010, the Recreation Centers of Sun City West offered a program to help residents understand how the community operates.

TORCH, which stands for “Tapping Our Resources, Citizens and Heritage,” made it challenging for residents to understand what the program was designed for.

The program was changed and is now called the “TORCH Sun City West Citizens Academy.” This is a new three-tiered system that offers a more convenient way to learn about Sun City West.
