Reader disagrees with ICE, Surprise facility opponents

Resident says previous Democratic, Republican administrations failed to properly secure borders

OPINION — I read the opinions of Dudley Gibson, Chris LaHaie and Lorie Lux, and I disagree with their positions.

First of all, ICE would not even be necessary if the previous administrations, both Democrats and Republicans, had secured the borders as the law is written. But because the past administrations failed, and especially the Biden administration, we have a major illegal immigration issue.

I lock my doors. Not to keep me in, but to keep undesirables out.
