OPINION — I applaud Don Roberts’ letter of 2/4/2026, in which he details the country’s turmoil under this administration.
Although I have been a Democrat for many years, I have voted Republican on occasion. I proudly voted for John McCain for senator because he exemplified honor and integrity. These are qualities completely lacking in today’s GOP.
Today, Americans in Democratic cities are being terrorized by masked, armed ICE agents. ICE agents whose salaries we are paying! All people within our borders deserve due process per the Constitution. Plus, the loss of life, unnecessary violence, harm to children and chaos is unconscionable.
