National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
7-11 a.m.
Saturday, April 22
19715 S. 220th St.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day takes place Saturday, April 22, the same day as Earth Day.
Residents are encouraged to bring their unused or expired prescription drugs (no liquids, needles or inhalers) to the town’s free recycling event from 7-11 a.m. to dispose of them properly. The event takes place at the town’s Field Operations Facility, 19715 S. 220th St.
Dropping off unused and expired prescription drugs to the Queen Creek Police Department will:
Prevents accidental or intentional medication misuse.
Keeps children and pets safe from accidental ingestion.
Protects waterways and groundwater supply (don't flush or throw them away).
QC Recycles is a free, drive-thru, drop-off event that is open to all town residents.
In addition to prescription drugs, residents can bring the following items for recycling:
Appliances
Electronics
Textiles and small furniture
Tires (maximum of four with rims removed)
Scrap metal
Latex and water-based paints
Paper for shredding
