Queen Creek schools scholarship deadline approaching
Posted
Every year, the Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation, or QCSEF, raises money for scholarships and grants through charity events and donations.
In this school year, QCSEF raised more than $145,000 and will be using these funds to support teachers and students to excel academically and professionally, according to a press release.
QCSEF Foundation Scholarships are currently open, and any Queen Creek Unified District senior can apply, but the deadline is approaching. Applications are due Wednesday, March 8.
“Many students don't realize that they qualify for these scholarships,” stated Quincy Nelson, QCSEF foundation secretary, in the release. “They should always apply. We have several scholarships to offer, and we are able to help many students whether they are going to a four-year university, a community college or a trade school.”
