OLD TOWN PARKING

Public meeting will begin the design process for the Brown Avenue Parking Structure Expansion

Posted

The City of Scottsdale will begin its design process for the parking garage earmarked for the intersection of First Street and Brown Avenue with a public meeting Thursday, May 22, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Civic Center library auditorium, 2329 N. Drinkwater Blvd.

The project will expand the two-story below ground parking facility at the location by adding two above ground levels.

The Old Town Farmers Market is currently held at this location – and will continue here through the 2025/2026 season, when construction preparations on the site are expected to begin.

The city is working with the Old Town Farmer’s Market to identify a new location in Old Town where it can continue to operate after this project begins.

For more information, visit ScottsdaleAZ.gov and search “Brown Avenue parking.”
