Pita Jungle, 14858 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. and 7366 E. Shea Blvd., Suite 105, will donate $1 for every pita sandwich sold on March 29 to Waste Not, a nonprofit whose mission is creating sustainable food systems that help people and the planet flourish.
The pita day promotion is valid for dine-in guests and takeout orders with pita options including the Mediterranean Roasted Chicken (Shawarma), Falafel Pita, Grilled Chicken Pita, Gyro, Philly Chicken and Philly Steak Pitas and vegan pita offerings.
