Pies: Chandler is in good hands

Posted

We have lived and worked in and for adjacent Valley cities for over sixty years. I have always been impressed with the City of Chandler and the school district.

Sixteen years ago, our granddaughter was born.  We had to pleasure of watching her and her older brother attend Chandler schools.  Attending and participating in school events and activities.

As a former school board member, I was extremely impressed with every level of the Chandler schools.

Recently, we moved to our Chandler retirement home.  We are now official residents.

Having worked for nine city managers as an administrator in my career, I wanted to have the opportunity to meet Chandler City Manager Josh Wright. (On a recent) Friday, I had that pleasure.

The citizens of Chandler are in good hands.

You have an active and informed City Council who selected Mr Wright. He is immensely impressive.

I worked for some outstanding managers.  Mr Wright would rate at the top of all.  Don’t let this man get away.

Our “new” home, already feels welcoming.  The planning of the communities, maintenance of city properties and outstanding mix of restaurants and local businesses are impressive.

While so many cities throughout this country spend millions to advertise the good they are doing, Chandler performs.

City government and the school district are in good hands. We look forward to being as active and involved as two old fogies can be in our new home.
