Home Assist Health caregivers Francisca Alanis, of Phoenix, and Enelida Borja, of Chandler, have been recognized as two of the top 500 caregivers in the country by the Home Care Association of America.

This prestigious acknowledgement recognizes their commitment to their clients and their dedication to providing quality care with every interaction.

“We are so proud of Francisca, Enelida and each of our 400 Home Assist Health caregivers who provide exceptional, compassionate care to our clients,” Home Assist CEO Sara Wilson shared in a press release. “We are excited to celebrate these nominations while encouraging members of the community to celebrate the caregivers in their neighborhoods, churches, workplaces and families – everywhere they see people serving in this capacity.”

Home Assist Health is located at 3737 N. 7th St., in Phoenix. The nonprofit opened its doors in 2014.

The top caregiver will be announced Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the HCAOA National Home Care Conference in Chicago.

As the U.S. prepares for a future where nearly 81 million people will be 65 years and older by 2040, caregivers like Alanis and Borja play an indispensable role in supporting the aging population and alleviating the strain on the healthcare system, the press release notes.

Home Assist Health employs more than 400 caregivers with both women recognized as two of their top team members.
