The Greater Phoenix Chamber is announced its 2024 ATHENA private sector, public sector, and young professional award recipients at its 37th annual awards.

Jenny Holsman Tetreault, vice president and associate general counsel, TPI, was awarded the award in the private sector. Shannon Clancy, CEO of St. Vincent de Paul, earned the 2024 award in the public sector. Hillary Walsh, founder and lawyer with New Frontier Immigration Law, took home the 2024 Young Professional Award.

“The Greater Phoenix Chamber’s ATHENA Awards celebrates the most inspiring women leaders in the Valley,” said Todd Sanders, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber. “These influential women are dedicated to building a brighter future and ensuring our community remains strong.”

The awards, an internationally prized honor through ATHENA International, recognizes women across the Valley for achievements in leadership, community service, and mentoring.

“I am honored and humbled to be the private sector ATHENA recipient, and I look forward to working with the public sector and young professional recipients in the upcoming year,” says Jenny Holsman Tetreault, the private sector ATHENA Award recipient.

Holsman Tetreault, with two decades of experience delivering strategic services in law firms and corporate and nonprofit settings, teaches at the Arizona State University School of Law while mentoring others and serving our community. Simultaneously, she is actively involved with 10 nonprofit boards, chairing three, volunteers through Big Brothers Big Sisters and leads her daughter’s Brownies Troop and co-leads her son’s Webelos Troop.

Clancy is the first woman CEO at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix. She has devoted her 30-plus year career to working for nonprofits that serve individuals and families in need. A Phoenix native, she attended Xavier College Preparatory, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Maryland at College Park.

“I’m very honored and humbled by this award and I feel really grateful for the people I work alongside at St. Vincent De Paul and so many partners in the community that care about others,” she said.

Walsh helps immigrants who have survived human trafficking and domestic violence get their immigration documents. Through her experiences of suffering child abuse, being put in foster care, and serving a stint in lockup, Walsh became committed to fighting for the rights of others. Her work has been featured on the TEDx stage, in briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court, in law journals, Forbes, and Newsweek.

“I feel very honored and humbled among the other nominees who are truly incredible!” said Walsh. “The best part of all this is seeing all the work we are all doing collectively.”
