A Peoria woman has been indicted for sharing sexual recordings of child.
Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell has announced the indictment of Jami Trautman, 44, for her involvement in dangerous crimes against a child.
Trautman is accused of recording herself bathing with a child known to her and then sending those recordings via social media to an individual currently incarcerated in a California prison.
Trautman is charged with the following crimes:
• One count of Sexual Abuse (Dangerous Crime Against Children), a Class Three Felony
• Two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (Dangerous Crime Against Children), a Class Two Felony.
Trautman is currently being held in custody on a $250,000 cash-only bond. Her trial date is scheduled for August.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
