Peoria council approves 5-story apartment near P83

Stipulation: Developer must conduct traffic study

The Peoria City Council unanimously approved Converge at P83, a new five-story, 195-unit, multifamily mixed-use project on the southwest corner of 75th Avenue and Paradise Lane.

But not without some opposition because of traffic concerns and a stipulation made to remedy the concern.

As part of the project’s impending site plan, the developer will be required to conduct a traffic study looking at safety on 75th Avenue and a possible light signal at Tierra Buena Lane.
