Patton: I agree with Boontjer's letter

Regarding JoAnn Boontjer's letter to the newsroom in the October 2023 issue of the Peoria Independent article about our school district.

Thank you for voicing the concerns I believe are common with many Peoria citizens.

The school district should focus on education rather than changing societal norms.

Patton: I agree with Boontjer's letter

Posted
By Jerry Patton, Peoria resident

Regarding JoAnn Boontjer's letter to the newsroom in the October 2023 issue of the Peoria Independent article about our school district.

Thank you for voicing the concerns I believe are common with many Peoria citizens.

The school district should focus on education rather than changing societal norms.

Also I agree with questioning the bias of articles published in the newspaper. My question: Is the Peoria Independent living up to its tag line "Your non-partisan community newspaper?"
