Orma Ruth Davidson

Orma Ruth Davidson, 65 Orma Ruth Davidson, 65, of Apache Junction, passed away Oct. 27, 2007 in Mesa. Mrs. Davidson was born July 11, 1942 to Ruth (Binnie) Scogin and Clifford A. Scogin in Kansas City, Miss. She grew up in the greater Kansas City area. In 1958, at the young age of 15, she met her future husband and soul mate, Doyle D. Davidson. They were married June 8, 1959 in Kansas City. They celebrated 48 years this past June. They were blessed with six children, Connie (Eddie) Wendleton of Greenwood, Miss.; Rebecca (Don) Sandt of Salt Lake City, Utah; Trina Brown of Kansas City, Miss.; Tim (Christine) Davidson of Apache Junction; Stacie Davidson of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and Shellee Davidson of Apache Junction Mrs. Davidson is also survived by a sister, Sandra (Calvin) Anderson of Warsaw, Miss.; a good friend, JoAnn Bell of Casper, Wyo.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jack and Larry Scogin. Mrs. Davidson retired from McDonald�s after 30 years of service as a manager. She enjoyed travel, gambling and was a collector of many things. Services were held Nov. 1 at the Apache Junction Mortuary.
