Northwest Valley Connect helps the many Northwest Valley seniors over 65, veterans, and people with disabilities who cannot drive themselves. 73% of the rides we provide are for medical appointments.
One way to help is to volunteer as a ride facilitator; this work can be done from home or at our Call Center during one four hour shift per week.
Additional drivers who can use personal vehicles, as well as drivers for the Northwest Valley Connect vans. Drivers who use personal vehicles can receive partial mileage reimbursement.
Drivers can set a schedule and the organization is flexible and will work to accomdate people, whether it is driving for one day a month or a couple days a week.
For more information on volunteering for NVC, call Gail Christianer, NVC volunteer coordinator 623-282-9300 or email gchristianer@northwestvalleyconnect.org.
