Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship announced that its annual fall fundraiser, “Starry Knights,” will once again be held in person this year.

The nonprofit’s event will be at Scottsdale Plaza Resort’s Camelback Vista on Friday, Oct. 21, from 6-10 p.m., a press release explained.

Guests are encouraged to wear colorful cocktail attire and will be treated to champagne, salad, dinner and dessert.

“This year’s event will be a great big, colorful celebration! We have so much to be grateful for,” Mary Hadsall, Camelot’s executive director, stated in the release. “The last few years have been challenging for all and it’s time to have some fun.”

In keeping with Camelot tradition, two Camelot students will be spotlighted at the event and this year’s honorees are Chelsea Lohr and Anabel Ressler. The young women were selected for their hard work, passion for horsemanship and dedication to the Camelot program, the release stated.

Tickets are now available online at CamelotAZ.org. Pricing for tickets is:

  • $150 for individuals
  • $275 for two
  • $1000 for a table of eight
  • $1250 for a table of 10

Sponsorships are still available.

For the past 39 years, Camelot’s mission has been to improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through programs of horsemanship and outdoor education, which develop self-worth, independence and active participation in the community, according to the release.

All contributions are 100% tax deductible and Camelot is an eligible program for the Arizona State Tax credit. The wheelchair-accessible Camelot ranch is located in north Scottsdale. Learn more at camelotaz.org.
