Chandler mom seeks funds, donor match for toddler with leukemia

Destiny Martinez isn’t at home in Chandler much these days.

She spends most of her time at an area hospital, where her son, Ollie, spends most of his days as a leukemia patient in need of a bone marrow transplant.

“It helps to get up and walk around, sometimes,” Martinez said about both her son and herself. “Even though he’s on the IV all the time, he can walk with me.”
