Arizona voters firmly oppose cuts to K-12 education, public safety and health care to balance the state’s budget, according to a poll conducted from a nonpartisan group.
The Center for the Future of Arizona’s polling, released May 10 as part of the group’s 2024 Arizona Voters Agenda survey, also found voters support investments that support growth, including on transportation infrastructure and child care assistance.
“Arizona voters are calling for proactive and strategic preparations for Arizona’s future growth," CFA CEO Sybil Francis said in a release tied to the survey. "There is a consensus across the political spectrum around topics related to planning and effective spending to support our anticipated growth and maintain a high quality of life.”
