Get Local Arizona, formerly known as Momma’s Organics, is launching a brand-new West Valley farmer’s market this season.

The North Peoria Farmers Market debuts Saturday, Oct. 7 at Liberty High School, 9621 W. Speckled Gecko Drive, in Peoria. The market will run every Sunday morning 9 a.m.-1 p.m. from October to April.

The weekly market will draw a variety of vendors including farmers, local market vendors, artisans, food trucks, kids’ activities and more. Admission is free and vendors accept both cash and card.

Leashed, friendly dogs also allowed.

Also, the ongoing Arrowhead Farmers Market returns to Glendale with new hours on Saturday, Oct. 7.

The market is open weekly every Saturday in the parking lot near Dillard’s at Arrowhead Mall, 7780 W. Arrowhead Towne Center.

The market hours are 8-11 a.m. currently but will switch to 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting in October as the weather cools.

Look for more than 80 vendors each week.
