We have been Chandler residents for 34 years and have been very happy with our city leadership.
The number one concern right now for our city and personal safety are the millions of illegals pouring into our state. It appears our Chandler city officials and police have been keeping our streets and neighborhoods free of crime and appear to properly arrest and punish those committing crimes. I am sure I am not alone in wanting this to continue under a new police chief.
I would support appointing the current 2nd in command (Dave Ramer) to continue the current policies.
I have strong concerns about bringing in any candidate from cities that have a history of putting criminals back on the street and are more concerned about DEI than keeping our streets and citizens safe.
Please understand, my comments are purely to have our law enforcement focus on the rule of law and protecting our citizens and punishing all criminals.
