Early voting for the general election begins soon in Mesa.
It begins on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and ends on Friday, Nov. 1, according to a press release from the city of Mesa. The county will offer “vote anywhere” Vote Centers, which allow voters to choose from a variety of open locations to vote from, instead of a singular assigned location.
Mesa City Plaza and the Mesa Main Library will be unavailable as a Drop Box or voting location for the general election this year, according to a press release.
Mesa has four questions on the general election ballot:
Question 1 – Permanent Base Adjustment
Question 2 – General Obligation Bond – Enhance Community Safety
Question 3 – General Obligation Bond – Enhance Recreational Facilities and Expand Educational and Cultural Experiences
Question 4 – 2050 General Plan
Additionally, the Mesa mayoral race and the District 1 council seat race have advanced to a runoff during the general election.
