Mesa voters Nov. 3 considered four city ballot questions and residents in District 5 voted on a council member runoff between incumbent Alicia Goforth and Aleks Vranicic.
Results for city ballot questions, according to unofficial results posted at 8 p.m. in Maricopa County with 0% of precincts reporting, are::
- Question 1: general obligation bond to enhance public safety — 67,591 (66.91%) yes and 33,432 (33.09%) no.
- Question 2: general obligation bond to enhance transportation improvements for safer and less congested streets — 65,760 (65.12%) yes and 35,228 (34.88%) no.
- Question 3: charter amendment for section 209 (a) relating to council meeting procedures and public notice — 88,714 (90.20%) yes and 9,636 (9.80%) no.
- Question 4: charter amendment for section 211 relating to ordinance posting and publication — 89,079 (91.15%) yes and 8,653 (8.85%) no.
