Meals of Joy, a local nonprofit that provides home visits and meals to local seniors in need, will host a free buffet breakfast in Goodyear.
Hear from community experts regarding seniors in the West Valley who are lacking life basics like food security and companionship. Learn how Meals of Joy and its volunteers collaborate with local hospitals, case managers, and social workers, to identify and serve those seniors who are falling through cracks and not receiving basic daily care or human contact.
The event goes from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at PebbleCreek Tuscany Ballroom, 16262 Clubhouse Drive.

Founded in 2014, Meals of Joy each month delivers an average of 3,000 meals to seniors across the West Valley.
