Luke Air Force Base training exercise may affect entry and exit

Posted

Luke Air Force Base will be performing a full-scale aircraft mishap exercise on Wednesday, Aug. 30, which may affect entry and exit procedures as well as various customer service areas, the base announced Tuesday.

The exercise will be restricted to Luke AFB property. The base is located in Glendale at 14185 Falcon St.

“There is no threat to the public or base population related to this routine procedure,” the base wrote in a statement. “Military installations regularly perform these simulated events to ensure the base population is prepared if the real-world scenario were to occur.”
