Luke Air Force Base near Glendale, Litchfield will perform antiterrorism exercise

No threat to the public or base during simulated event

Luke Air Force Base will be performing a full-scale antiterrorism exercise next week.

The exercise on Wednesday, Oct. 25 will be restricted to Luke property and, as a result, may affect entry and exit procedures, as well as various customer service areas on the base.

There is no threat to the public or base population related to this routine procedure.

Military installations regularly perform these simulated events to ensure the base population is prepared if the real-world scenario were to occur.

Call the Luke AFB Public Affairs Office at 623-856-6011 with questions.
