Public art installations in Scottsdale, the Town of Paradise Valley and Phoenix are among the Top 100 finalists for a CODAaward, given to those who successfully integrate commissioned art into interior, architectural, or public spaces.

From July 18 to 31, public voting is open. The two artworks that receive the most online votes will win a People’s Choice CODAaward, according to a press release.

The Arizona nominees are:

  •  Our Lady of the Angels (Phoenix - Liturgical Category)
  •  Blue Agave (Phoenix - Healthcare Category)
  •  Phoenix Light Passage (Phoenix - Transportation Category)
  •  Fences (Scottsdale - Public Spaces Category)

Our Lady of the Angels is apart of the Franciscan Renewal Center, which is on a Maricopa County island inside Town of Paradise Valley municipal borders.

Hundreds of commissioned art projects were submitted to the 11th Annual CODAawards: Collaboration of Design + Art, the press release stated.
