4-time defending champ Chandler survives Lions 35-34 in OT

On a weekend where three district compatriots reached the state finals, the Liberty football Lions undoubtedly played the best of any Peoria Unified School District team.

Trailing nationally ranked Chandler 28-7 at the half, the Lions embarked on a comeback that had the four-time defending champs reeling, tying the Wolves at 3:13 and forcing overtime in the Dec. 5 open division semifinal.
