Howard R. Bryden

Howard “Howie” R. Bryden was born on April 26, 1929 in Berwick, PA. He passed away on April 17th, 2025. He spent his youth in Connecticut and received a degree in business from the University of Connecticut. Howie started his insurance career in Hartford, then moved the family to Burnsville, MN in 1965. He worked at TC Field & Co. in St. Paul until he retired in 1994. Howie was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with family and friends at Southview Country Club and in the Sun City West area. He also bowled in the Mary Mother of the Church couples league at Burnsville Bowl. Spending time with family and watching his grandchildren participate in youth sports were also favorite pastimes. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jacqueline, parents David & Naomi Bryden, sister Betty, and brothers Robert and Albert (Jim). He is survived by his four children and their spouses: Mark Bryden (Ann Casey), Lynn (Brad Pounds), Lori (Tom Wageman), Scott (Pam) Bryden, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
